Laurie Fitzgerald, Hope House of Cumberland Valley Executive Director, utilizes Empowerment in Action’s grant writing and affordable housing development services to repurpose a former flower shop into transitional housing for women who escaped domestic violence. This $4,000,000 development project will provide 13 single room occupancy units for women and families transitioning from shelter as they rebuild their lives.
